We started off our day with Anna and her bridesmaids at the Doubletree Hotel in Danvers, MA. I arrived around 9:30 AM, and the girls were already in the midst of wedding prep. Anna had brought in stylists from Salon Eleven for hair, and Julie Howard for make-up. Anna's dress was hanging over in the corner of the room- it was so glamorous, the kind of dress that you see in bridal magazines but rarely get to see in real life! She found this gorgeous gown at Madeleine's Daughter in Porstmouth, NH. One of my other favorite details was the hairpiece she was wearing, designed by Musette Bridal in Boston, MA. The perfect accessory for Anna's elegant vintage style. I had a great time hanging with the girls while they got ready, especially watching Anna's maid of honor, Cristen, practice her song that she would be performing for Anna later that evening. Danny was getting ready at Anna's house, which happened to be just a few miles away from their church- St. Patrick's, in Stoneham, MA. There was a delicious spread of italian cookies, meats, and home-made wine for the boys to enjoy. Before heading out for the ceremony they toasted to Danny and Anna with a sip of Grappa, a drink that has become a tradition for special occassions at the Martignetti household. The ceremony at St. Pat's was perfect-Deacon Frank had some great words to share and Danny and Anna did not stop smiling through the entire ceremony! They had given a bell to each of their guests to be rung once they were pronounced husband and wife- it was a really unique way to involve everyone in that very special moment. Following the ceremony we travelled to The Topsfield Commons 1854 for their cocktail hour and reception. The blue/purple uplighting in the ballroom created the perfect feel for their winter wedding. Anna and Danny had named the different tables after various places they have lived/visited. Olivia and her team from Olivia Gird Photography set up some beautiful shots of the couple in one of the cozy rooms located on the first floor of the commons, and then took the couple outside to grab some night shots with the glowing Commons in the background. We were so happy to capture these beautiful moments on film as well. After enjoying a delicious 5 course meal, we off to capture the last hour of the night. The Next Level Entertainment DJ's, Antonio and Chris, kept the crowd moving on the dance floor non-stop, ending the night with Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas is you". We wish a lifetime full of love, happiness, and laughter to this perfectly matched couple :) Thank you Danny and Anna for having us capture your special day!
